Kaitlin Zaki-Metias, MD, MHM, FRCPC completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Trinity Health Oakland/Wayne State University in Michigan, USA followed by a clinical fellowship in Breast and Body Imaging at Western University and a Master of Health Management at McMaster University. She returned to her hometown of Winnipeg for practice and is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Manitoba. Dr. Zaki-Metias’ clinical practice primarily encompasses breast imaging and general radiology. She has served as the founding co-chair of the Canadian Society of Breast Imaging Mentorship Standing Committee has held a variety of volunteer positions with the Canadian Association of Radiologists, Radiological Society of North America, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, Canadian Society of Abdominal Radiology, and Canadian Society of Breast Imaging. She has special interests in breast imaging, health systems and quality improvement, and mentorship.
