Dr. Geneviève Belley is a thoracic radiologist at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC), having been a member of the radiology department since 2000. She earned her medical degree at the Université de Montréal, then finished her radiology residency at McGill University. She subsequently completed fellowship training in thoracic imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital, an opportunity that influenced her passion for collaborative, multidisciplinary care.
For the last 25 years, Dr. Belley has dedicated her career to consistent, patient-centered clinical practice and a dedication to assisting peers in thoracic surgery, respirology, and oncology. Her work focuses on thoracic CT and the imaging of lung and mediastinal conditions, prioritizing clear, practical interpretations that significantly enhance patient care.
Dr. Belley has been involved in quality enhancement and protocol creation efforts at the MUHC. She values teamwork and has participated in initiatives to optimize thoracic imaging processes and improve uniformity in imaging methods.
Teaching constitutes an important part of her career.
