Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) can defer costly infrastructure upgrades, empower ratepayers and consumers, and alleviate pressures on the broader electricity system. This session will explore how municipalities can best leverage this largely untapped class of energy resources, and what role storage can play in providing reliable, flexible, affordable electricity at the DER-level.
