Pete Bombaci is a visionary business and social change leader who believes that by doing the right thing every day, exceptional results are created. In 2016, Pete launched The GenWell Project, a Global Human Connection Movement whose mission is to make the world a happier and healthier place by educating, empowering, and catalyzing people around the importance of face-to-face human connection for health, happiness, success and the betterment of society. With 20 years in the hospitality and beverage alcohol industry, before leading Movember Canada to be the largest fundraising country globally, Pete believes that the opportunity to connect purpose with profit is greater that it has ever been as we exit the global pandemic.

Human connection is at the root of humanity, and yet long before the global pandemic, we were more disconnected as a society than ever. Pete will help connect the dots and inspire every guest to be part of the solution to our disconnected world, one face-to-face conversation at a time.

Arrowhead North BBQ, is a competition BBQ team from White City, Saskatchewan. With over 10-years on the competition circuit, their dedication to excellence has led to many notable achievements, including winning multiple Grand Championships and being crowned 2-Time National Champion, establishing them as one of Canada’s top BBQ teams.

Driven by a relentless pursuit of innovation, Arrowhead North BBQ recently introduced a line of signature rubs. Drawing from their expertise and inspired by Canadian flavors, these rubs infuse traditional barbecue with a distinctive Canadian twist, incorporating ingredients such as maple, Worcestershire, mustard, and Saskatoon berries. This venture showcases their ongoing commitment to pushing boundaries and delivering exceptional flavors to grillers and barbecue enthusiasts.

The launch of their rub line marks a significant milestone for Arrowhead North BBQ. With their blend of traditional and Canadian-inspired flavors, these rubs are poised to become sought-after staples among grillers, enhancing dishes with what the team affectionately calls "Canadian Swagger."

Although, she wasn’t raised on a farm, Tara’s experience in agriculture spans over 30 years, first in dairy, then cattle and now chicken (24 years).

In 2011, Tara’s first husband lost his battle with cancer. During this difficult time, she was faced with the choice to stop farming or forge ahead. Her passion for agriculture persisted and with the encouragement from her father-in-law, the support of her church family, and neighbouring farmers she persevered.

Today, alongside her husband Darren, they farm near Devon, Alberta.

“I am very passionate of the fact that if we don’t tell our story someone else will… and we know that it won’t always be the correct story. Being out in the community has given me the opportunity to firsthand correct some of the myths around our industry. And hopefully our story gets spread just a little more with each encounter.”

Family plays a huge part in Tara’s life and when she isn’t busy volunteering at agriculture education events, hosting a farm tour, helping to create videos to counter myths, or tending to her flock, Tara spends time with her three children, their spouses and her and Darren’s eight grandchildren.

He is an advocate for building a strong local food system, supporting farmers, entrepreneurs, and chefs through his many community initiatives. Peter was awarded the Culinary Federation’s “Canadian Chef of the Year” and Foodservice & Hospitality’s “Top 30 Under 30” in 2020, along with Edmonton's "Top 40 under 40" in 2022.
