We're excited to announce that the 9th annual Energy Storage Canada Conference will take place October 8-9, 2024 - this year at a larger venue! We look forward to welcoming an increased attendance and to connecting with energy stakeholders from across the country.
Energy storage technologies cover an expansive range of types and durations. The theme for the 2024 ESC Conference - Optimizing Our Energy Grid - aims to celebrate the flexibility this diversity provides, and this enables storage to optimize the range of generation resources contributing to Canada’s grids, both now and in the future, as Canada achieves its transition goals. The conversations hosted this year will explore where in the grid storage can serve as an optimizer, what types of storage can optimize which resources, why storage is the optimal technology to meet the needs of the grid, and how industry stakeholders, regulators, policymakers, and communities can best ensure the energy storage Canada needs is built to make best use of our resources
