Call for Submissions

Energy Storage Canada is pleased to open a call for submission of abstracts to present at the 2025 Energy Storage Canada Conference "Powering Canada's Advantage". We will be looking for three sessions of approximately fifty minutes to complete the lineup of conference programming for this year.

We are looking for presentations based on work that is of interest to Canada's energy storage industry, contributes to ongoing conversations within the industry, and pushes these narratives forward by providing research or a case study providing new perspective on challenges or opportunities faced by the industry, and concrete recommendations for paths forward.

Submissions should be submitted primarily by those dedicated to in-depth research, i.e. consulting firms, academic institutions, think tanks, research organizations or NGOs.

Requirements:

  1. Research must be topically relevant to Canada's energy storage industry.
  2. Research much fit within the conference's theme, "Powering Canada's Advantage," and fall into one of the three program streams:
    • Supply Chain & Technology
    • Regulatory
    • Regional
  3. Content must be able to span 50 minutes of session time.
  4. Presenters must be available to participate on both days, as successful submissions may be selected for presentation on either day of the conference (Sep 25 or Sep 26).

Completed forms should be submitted before midnight, June 30, 2025 via email to ESC Coordinator of Events & Engagement, Jame George (jame.george@energystoragecanada.org)

Successful submissions will be notified by July 18, 2025. Please note due to the volume of submissions, only those who are successful will be notified.
