Dre. Nadia Marie Quesnel OD MSc
Nadia Marie Quesnel est diplômée de l’École d’optométrie de l’Université de Montréal (OD en 1978 et M.Sc. en 1995) et Fellow del’American Academy of Optometry (2001). Après avoir été chargée de cours et de clinique pendant plusieurs années, elle a été nommée professeure agrégée en 2005. Actuellement elle est professeure associée à l’Université de Montréal et continue à donner les cours liés à la chirurgie réfractive et de cataracte à l’école d’optométrie de Montréal et à l’Université de Nîmes. Depuis 2004, elle travaille à temps partiel à la clinique d’ophtalmologie IRIS dont elle est la directrice scientifique. Cette pratique lui a permis d’acquérir des connaissances et une expertise particulière dans la gestion des patients avant et après une chirurgie réfractive au laser ou une chirurgie de remplacement du cristallin. Elle a effectué plusieurs travaux de recherche dans ce domaine et présenté ses résultats au Canada, aux États-Unis et en Europe en plus de les publier dans différentes revues scientifiques.

After several years as a lecturer and clinician, she was appointed Associate Professor in 2005. She is currently an associate professor at the University of Montreal and continues to teach courses related to refractive and cataract surgery at the Montreal School of Optometry and at the University of Nîmes. Since 2004, she has been working part-time at the IRIS ophthalmology clinic where she is the scientific director. This practice has allowed her to acquire knowledge and expertise in the management of patients before and after laser refractive surgery and lens replacement surgery. She has conducted several research projects in this field and presented her results in Canada, the United States and Europe, in addition to publishing them in various scientific journals.
